Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety focuses on integrated mechanistic research related to short- and long-term pathways and interactions of substances and chemical mixtures in environmental systems and subsystems on their bioavailability, and assimilation in organisms, as well as biological responses of these organisms, and damage mechanisms (endocrine disruption, genotoxicity); and on their subsequent fate in the environment, food chain, including humans. Novel technologies, techniques, and methods such as biomarkers, biosensors and bioanalytical systems, bioremediation methods, QSARs and QSPRs, advanced high performance computational methods, models, and their applications in obtaining and processing interdisciplinary ecotoxicological information are also addressed in the journal. We welcome the applied outcome of complex ecotoxicological research such as developing the science-based Environmental Quality Criteria (EQC), standard toxicity tests, techniques, and methods for ecotoxicological evaluation of the environment, as well as developing ecotoxicologically proven methods and technologies for prevention, interception, and remediation of human-induced damage to ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on ecological animal models rather than laboratory based rodent studies; The above scope of the journal is aimed at providing science-based tools for sustainably managing the environment through risk assessment, risk characterization, risk prediction, and risk management. The journal publishes regular research articles, and review articles.

Electoral Studies is an international journal covering all aspects of voting, the central act in the democratic process. Political scientists, economists, sociologists, game theorists, geographers, contemporary historians and lawyers have common, and overlapping, interests in what causes voters to act as they do, and the consequences. Electoral Studies provides a forum for these diverse approaches. It publishes fully refereed papers, both theoretical and empirical, on such topics as relationships between votes and seats, and between election outcomes and politicians' reactions; historical, sociological, or geographical correlates of voting behaviour; rational choice analysis of political acts, and critiques of such analyses; the formal and behavioural properties of electoral systems; and work in game theory, political economy, or social choice relevant to elections. The recent emergence of new democracies in many parts of the world provides a wealth of new information, and scope for testing hypotheses. Electoral Studies also provides comprehensive descriptive coverage of national elections and referendums in the democratic world in its 'Notes on Recent Elections' and 'National Elections: the cycle of elections' features.Months of publication: March, June, September and December.Index bound in last issue of calendar year. The editors of Electoral Studies maintain a home page for the journal at the University of Texas at Dallas, with information about developments on the journal, details of forthcoming articles and links to other key information resources for political scientists.
Electric Power Systems Research is an international medium for the publication of original papers concerned with the generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy. Electronic Commerce Research and Applications aims to create and disseminate enduring knowledge for the fast-changing e-commerce environment. A major dilemma in e-commerce research is how to achieve a balance between the currency and the life span of knowledge.Electronic Commerce Research and Applications will contribute to the establishment of a research community to create the knowledge, technology, theory, and applications for the development of electronic commerce. This is targeted at the intersection of technological potential and business aims.E-commerce is a multi-disciplinary area, which should be developed in co-operation with existing fields such as Information Systems and Technology; Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain Management; Business Strategy and Management; Public Policy; Computer Science and Telecommunications; and Legal Studies. We will solicit papers on current technologies from these areas, as well as publish papers on completely new topics. We also seek proposals for special issues on new topics in e-commerce that will create new directions for research.Electronic Commerce Research and Applications is inviting submission of articles in the following fields:Agent-based commerce; electronic auctions; e-business models; B2C and B2B EC; consumer behaviour; customer relationship management and data mining; pricing and marketing; digital economy; e-government, public policy and digital divide issues; electronic payment systems; IT and e-services; exchanges and electronic marketplaces; e-commerce in supply chain and inventory management; legal issues in e-commerce; industry studies and case analysis; economic and management science modelling; organizational and theory-building research; empirical studies of e-commerce problems; behavioral studies of e-commerce issues; recommender systems; protocols, technology and process standards for e-commerce; transformation of industries; security and trust; credit card and smart card applications; mobile-commerce and ubiquitous computing; inter-organizational systems in e-commerce; emerging technologies and technological innovation. We also encourage Methodological studies: these should be complete and ready for implementation, rather than papers that propose new frameworks.

Electronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics is a venue for the rapid electronic publication of the proceedings of conferences, of lecture notes, monographs and other similar material for which quick publication is appropriate. Organizers of conferences whose proceedings appear inElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, and authors of other material appearing as a volume in the series are allowed to make hard copies of the relevant volume for limited distribution. For example, conference proceedings may be distributed to participants at the meeting, and lecture notes can be distributed to those taking a course based on the material in the volume.
Instructions for Preparing Manuscripts
This electronic publication requires that papers are prepared using LaTeX macro files that have been created to ensure a uniform format for the series.Electronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics does NOT publish papers prepared using word processing software. Please clickhttp://www.elsevier.com/inca/publications/misc/endm_package.ziphere to download the generic ENDM style package. This package contains the ENDM macro style files as well as instructions on how to use them and a template for preparing your paper.
