Primates is an international journal of primatology whose aim is to provide a forum for the elucidation of all aspects of primates. It publishes original papers that contribute to the development of the scientific study of primates, and its scope embraces work in fields of biological investigation such as morphology, physiology, genetics, psychology, behavior, ecology, sociology, systematics, evolution, and medicine. Original Articles as well as Review Articles, News and Perspectives, and Book Reviews are included.

Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins publishes reviews, original articles, letters (short notes) and technical (methodological) communications targeted towards the advancement of the fundamental knowledge and exploration of the applications of probiotics, natural antimicrobial proteins and their derivatives in biomedical, agricultural, veterinary, food, and cosmetic products. The Journal equally welcomes fundamental research articles and reports on applications of these microorganisms and substances. The Journal encourages structural studies and studies that correlate the structure and functional properties of antimicrobial proteins. Authors are expected to submit manuscripts dealing with all aspects of probiotics and antimicrobial peptides, from their discovery and understanding mechanisms of action to biophysical experiments/simulations that clarify mechanisms of action on molecular level, testing pharmacological profiles (activity and toxicity) and design of novel antimicrobial proteins and/or probiotic-containing or probiotic-derived products with therapeutic, food or consumer health formulation potential.

This journal publishes refereed papers covering current research in mathematics. The papers present results of original work, critical reviews of important fields, and applied areas. The journal also features special issues devoted to advances in specific areas of mathematics and proceedings of selected high quality conferences.

The journal reports peer reviewed results of latest research in industrial engineering, production engineering and industrial organization. The high level and focus on both the scientific as well as the practical impact of the selected papers will bridge the gap between research and successful industrial application. Researchers in production engineering as well as in operation management and supply chain organization will find recent valuable developments. Protoplasma specializes in the area between structural and molecular analysis of biological systems from gene expression to the sub- and supracellular levels. The journal offers articles on structural and macromolecular cell biology of protists, fungi, plants, and animals, as well as prokaryotes. Coverage includes biogenesis, dynamics, and energetics of membrane compartments; targeting and trafficking of macromolecules; cellular dynamics, intracellular transport, and whole-cell locomotion; structure, dynamics, and molecular components of the cytoskeleton; signaling and regulatory cascades; the cell cycle and cell-to-cell communication. Besides research, rapid communications, and comprehensive review articles, Protoplasma publishes reviews of discoveries, and opportunities at the cutting edge of research under the headings New Ideas in Cell Biology.

Psychiatric Quarterly publishes original research, theoretical papers, and review articles on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of persons with psychiatric disabilities, with emphasis on care provided in public, community, and private institutional settings such as hospitals, schools, and correctional facilities. Qualitative and quantitative studies concerning the social, clinical, administrative, legal, political, and ethical aspects of mental health care fall within the scope of the journal. Psychological Injury and Law is a journal designed as a multidisciplinary forum for the dissemination of research articles and scholarly exchanges about issues pertaining to the interface of psychology and law in the area of trauma, injury, and their psychological impact. The journal intends to help build the evidentiary research base of the field, and to critically examine its concepts and practice. Psychological impairments and disabilities may arise from physical and/or mental injuries ascribed to alleged negligent actions. They need to be judiciously assessed for their validity, and treated when evaluated as valid. They lead to legal and related action when there are long term or permanent effects.

The Psychological Record publishes empirical and conceptual articles related to the field of behavior analysis, behavior science, and behavior theory. The journal welcomes investigations of basic behavioral processes, as well as translational studies that bridge experimental and applied analyses of behavior. Conceptual articles pertinent to the theory and philosophy of behaviorism are also welcome.

The journal Psychological Research publishes articles that contribute to a basic understanding of human perception, attention, memory and action. It is devoted to the dissemination of knowledge based on firm experimental ground, independent of any particular approach or school of thought. Psychopharmacology is an international journal that covers the broad topic of elucidating mechanisms by which drugs affect behavior. The scope of the journal extends from clinical psychopharmacology, including trials, to experimental studies on the effects of drugs on cognition and behavior in humans and laboratory studies in experimental animals. The research methodologies covered range from neurochemical assays and electrophysiological recording to studies of functional neuroimaging, and the methods of experimental psychology and ethology, as well as clinical neurology and psychiatry.
