Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (JTAC) is a fully peer-reviewed, highly cited journal that publishes good quality papers covering all aspects of thermal analysis, calorimetry, and experimental thermodynamics. Twelve issues are published every year containing regular and special issues which focus on topics at the forefront of thermal analysis and calorimetry which are carried out in the following areas: pharmaceuticals, bio-sciences, life-sciences, nano-materials, and energetic materials (including biodiesel, polymers, and biodegradable polymers). JTAC publishes original research papers, short communications, reviews, modern instruments, events, and book reviews. Journal of Thermal Science publishes high-quality articles on experimental, numerical and theoretical investigations which give insight into the major areas of thermal and fluid sciences. It publishes contributions in the fields of fluid mechanics, aerothermodynamics of internal flow, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flow, turbulence modeling, combustion, engineering thermodynamics, thermophysical properties of matter, measurement and visualization techniques. The journal also includes technical papers concerning the application of fundamental knowledge to industrial processes and equipment, such as energy conversion and conservation, turbomachinery, heat transfer equipment, furnaces and boilers. Journal of Thermal Science incorporates review articles, technical notes, short communications and discussions on previously published papers. Technical notes provide an opportunity to rapidly disseminate research results that are of timely interest to the thermal and fluid sciences community.

The Journal of Ultrasound is the official journal of the Italian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB). The journal publishes original contributions (research and review articles, case reports, technical reports and letters to the editor) on significant advances in clinical diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic applications, clinical techniques, the physics, engineering and technology of ultrasound in medicine and biology, and in cross-sectional diagnostic imaging. The Journal of Water Chemistry and Technology focuses on water and wastewater treatment, water pollution monitoring, water purification, and similar topics. It publishes the results of research covering a very broad range, including the structure of water and its fundamental properties; chemical, physicochemical and biological methods of water treatment; methods of water analysis; instrumentation for monitoring water quality; and automation and control of treatment processes and systems. Its main rubrics are theoretical principles of water conditioning and treatment technology; physical chemistry of water treatment processes; analysis of natural and wastewaters; water treatment and demineralization technology; and biological methods of water treatment. Many of the articles originate from the Institute of Colloid Chemistry and Water Chemistry (Ukrainian Academy of Sciences), which is well known for its contributions to the study of chemical and physicochemical water treatment processes.

The Journal of Wood Science provides an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and the discussion of current issues in wood and wood utilization. It publishes original articles on basic and applied research dealing with the science, technology, and engineering of wood, wood components, wood and wood-based products, and wood constructions. Articles concerned with pulp and paper, fiber resources from non-woody plants, wood-inhabiting insects and fungi, wood biomass, and environmental and ecological issues in forest products are also included.
