Cognitive Therapy and Research publishes experimental studies; theoretical, review, technical, and methodological articles; case studies; and brief reports. It is a broadly conceived interdisciplinary journal that stimulates and communicates research and theory on the role of cognitive processes in human adaptation and adjustment. Contributions integrate diverse topics, encompassing clinical, cognitive, counseling, developmental, experimental, learning, personality, and social psychology. The journal examines all topics that pertain to psychological problems, including affective disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, substance abuse, disorders of childhood and adolescence, psychological dysfunction in aging, and personality. Most of the journal’s publication space is devoted to experimental studies that seek to advance the field in such ways as providing new knowledge or information on a particular clinical problem or issue.
Cognitive, Affective, & Behavioral Neuroscience (CABN) offers theoretical, review, and primary research articles on behavior and brain processes in humans. Coverage includes normal function as well as patients with injuries or processes that influence brain function: neurological disorders, including both healthy and disordered aging; and psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and depression. CABN is the leading vehicle for strongly psychologically motivated studies of brain–behavior relationships, through the presentation of papers that integrate psychological theory and the conduct and interpretation of the neuroscientific data. The range of topics includes perception, attention, memory, language, problem solving, reasoning, and decision-making; emotional processes, motivation, reward prediction, and affective states; and individual differences in relevant domains, including personality. Cognitive, Affective, & Behavioral Neuroscience is a publication of the Psychonomic Society.
The journal publishes scientific developments and applications in the field of coal beneficiation and preparation for coking, coking processes, design of coking ovens and equipment, by-product recovery, automation of technological processes, ecology and economics. It also presents indispensable information on the scientific events devoted to thermal rectification, use of smokeless coal as an energy source, and manufacture of different liquid and solid chemical products.
Colloid Journal (Kolloidnyi Zhurnal) is the only journal in Russia that publishes the results of research in the area of chemical science dealing with the disperse state of matter and surface phenomena in disperse systems. The journal covers experimental and theoretical works on a great variety of colloid and surface phenomena: the structure and properties of interfaces; adsorption phenomena and structure of adsorption layers of surfactants; capillary phenomena; wetting films; wetting and spreading; and detergency. The formation of colloid systems, their molecular-kinetic and optical properties, surface forces, interaction of colloidal particles, stabilization, and criteria of stability loss of different disperse systems (lyosols and aerosols, suspensions, emulsions, foams, and micellar systems) are also topics of the journal. Colloid Journal also includes the phenomena of electro- and diffusiophoresis, electro- and thermoosmosis, and capillary and reverse osmosis, i.e., phenomena dealing with the existence o
Colloid and Polymer Science - a leading international journal of longstanding tradition - is devoted to colloid and polymer science and its interdisciplinary interactions. As such, it responds to a demand which has lost none of its actuality as revealed in the trends of contemporary materials science. To enable an effective and fast dissemination of scientific manuscripts, four categories of contributions are presented:- Invited review articles
- Perspectives
- Original contributions
- Short communications
The latter will be published with high priority, at least within two weeks after acceptance of the manuscript. (The usual time between acceptance and publishing OnlineFirst is typically three weeks.) With this immediacy, Colloid and Polymer Science serves as a reliable partner for an effective distribution of scientific results.
Combinatorica is an international journal of the János Bolyai Mathematical Society. It publishes research papers on a variety of areas of combinatorics and the theory of computing, with particular emphasis on general techniques and unifying principles. Coverage in Combinatorica includes: - combinatorial structures (graphs, hypergraphs, matroids, designs, permutation groups) - combinatorial optimization - combinatorial aspects of geometry and number theory - algorithms in combinatorics and related fields - computational complexity theory - randomization and explicit construction in combinatorics and algorithms.
The journal Combustion, Explosion, and Shock Waves is one of the few worldwide publications of results obtained in research in physics and chemistry of combustion of substances in various phase states, detonation processes, obtaining new materials in combustion waves, shock waves, and detonation waves, explosive welding, response of materials and structures to dynamic loading, high-velocity impact, and powder compaction. Structural and chemical transformations of matter in shock and detonation waves and related phenomena are considered. Papers on the development of analytical and numerical models of phenomena under study are also published in the journal. A specific feature of the journal is the wide scope of combustion and explosion topics: from initiation of combustion in gases to the response of materials to shock loading, from computer-aided modeling of detonation of powerful high explosives to obtaining superconducting materials under shock compression. Reviews are also published in addition to regular p
Communications Biology is an open access journal from Nature Research publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of the biological sciences. Research papers published by the journal represent significant advances bringing new biological insight to a specialized area of research.
Communications Biology complements the other Nature Research journals by providing a new open access option for biologists while applying less stringent criteria for impact and significance than the Nature-branded journals, including Nature Communications. All Nature Research journals, including Communications Biology, apply the same criteria for technical validity and adherence to ethical standards.
Communications Earth & Environment is an open access journal from Nature Portfolio publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of the Earth, environmental and planetary sciences. Research papers published by the journal represent significant advances that bring new insight to a specialized area in Earth science, planetary science or environmental science. Communications Earth & Environment complements the other Nature Portfolio journals by providing a high-quality open access option for the Earth, environmental and planetary sciences while applying somewhat less stringent criteria for impact and significance than the Nature-branded journals, including Nature Communications.
Communications Engineering is a selective open access journal from Nature Portfolio publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of engineering. Research papers published by the journal represent significant advances for a specialized area of research and development. We also aim to provide a community forum for issues of importance to all engineers, regardless of sub-discipline.
Communications Psychology is an open-access journal from Nature Portfolio publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary. The scope of the journal includes all of the psychological sciences. We also consider submissions from adjacent research fields where the central advance of the study is of interest to psychologists, for example, meta-science in the domain of psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and behavioural economics. Communications Psychology aims to provide a community forum for issues of importance to all psychologists, regardless of the sub-discipline.
Communications Psychology is committed to promoting open science, championing initiatives such as Registered Reports and transparent peer review. We encourage preregistration and preprint deposition, welcome replication studies and meta-analyses, and will work closely with the community to identify publishing innovations that serve the field.
