AIMS Irrigation and Drainage is the official journal of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID). The objectives of the ICID are to advance the science and art of irrigation, drainage and flood management. Published five times a year, the Journal is a prestigious peer-reviewed publication and enables ICID to accomplish its objectives of publishing original papers on scientific, engineering, environmental and socio-economic issues associated with irrigation, drainage and flood management in a clear, concise and uniform style that is easily understood by an international audience. ICID has for half a century, been the main forum for the global dissemination of experience and new ideas in the quest for the sustainable use and protection of water and land to meet the World's increasing demand for food and fibre. SCOPE Human intervention in the control of water for sustainable agricultural development involves the application of technology and management approaches to: (i) provide the appropriate quantities of water when it is needed by the crops, (ii) prevent salinisation and water-logging of the root zone, (iii) protect land from flooding, and (iv) maximise the beneficial use of water by appropriate allocation, conservation and reuse. All this has to be achieved within a framework of economic, social and environmental constraints. The Journal, therefore, covers a wide range of subjects, advancement in which, through high quality papers in the Journal, will make a significant contribution to the enormous task of satisfying the needs of the world's ever-increasing population. The Journal also publishes book reviews.

Island Arc provides an opportunity for the prompt, international and high-standard publication of research from all fields of solid earth geosciences. Papers which discuss the interaction between the solid earth, atmosphere, and water bodies are also welcome. The journal has a particularly good track record in publishing results of studies related to convergent plate margins and to the Pacific and Asian regions. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed articles and reviews. Original scientific articles, of a maximum length of 15 printed pages, are published promptly with a standard publication time from submission of 8 months. Articles describing new and important results are given priority and will be published a minimum of 4 months after submission. All articles are peer reviewed by at least two researchers expert in the field of the submitted paper.

The fledgling State of Israel began to publish its scientific activity in 1951 under the general heading of Bulletin of the Research Council of Israel, which quickly split into sections to accommodate various fields in the growing academic community. In 1963, the Bulletin ceased publication and independent journals were born, with Section A becoming the new Israel Journal of Chemistry. The Israel Journal of Chemistry is the official journal of the Israel Chemical Society. Effective from Volume 50 (2010) it is published by Wiley-VCH. The Israel Journal of Chemistry is an international and peer-reviewed publication forum for Special Issues on timely research topics in all fields of chemistry: from biochemistry through organic and inorganic chemistry to polymer, physical and theoretical chemistry, including all interdisciplinary topics. Each topical issue is edited by one or several Guest Editors and primarily contains invited Review articles. Communications and Full Papers may be published occasionally, if they fit with the quality standards of the journal. The publication language is English and the journal is published six times a year. JGH Open is a peer-reviewed open access journal published in association with the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Foundation. The journal focuses on the rapid dissemination of clinical and experimental research in all areas of gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. 

JOR Spine is a fully open access title from the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS). The journal publishes high-quality research, including, but not limited to: Aging, Degeneration, Biologic Therapies, Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, Biomechanics, Bioreactors, Culture Systems, Development, and Deformity.

Japan Architectural Review is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Architectural Institute of Japan. The journal covers all aspects of architectural design and building sciences, including perspectives offered through the lens of science, technology, engineering, economics, social science and human-centered design, architectonics and other related fields. The journal provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, innovation and information between architects, researchers and engineers, with the aim of advancing the contribution architecture can make in mitigating and resolving a broad range of problems faced locally and globally. Japan Architectural Review publishes original papers, invited reviews, design reviews and translated papers in the areas noted above. The journal is published quarterly, and all content is published open access.
