Lakes & Reservoirs: Research and Management is the official publication of the International Lake Environment Committee Foundation (ILEC). The Journal aims to promote environmentally sound management of natural and artificial lakes, consistent with sustainable development policies. The Journal publishes international research on the management and conservation of lakes and reservoirs to facilitate the international exchange of results.

Language Learning is a scientific journal dedicated to the understanding of language learning broadly defined. It publishes research articles that systematically apply methods of inquiry from disciplines including psychology, linguistics, cognitive science, educational inquiry, neuroscience, ethnography, sociolinguistics, sociology, and anthropology. It is concerned with fundamental theoretical issues in language learning such as child, second, and foreign language acquisition, language education, bilingualism, literacy, language representation in mind and brain, culture, cognition, pragmatics, and intergroup relations. Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology (LIO) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal focused on the rapid dissemination of the science and practice of otolaryngology head and neck surgery, and is a companion journal to The Laryngoscope. 

Laser & Photonics Reviews is an international journal which covers the current range of laser physics and photonics, both theoretical and experimental, from recent research to specific developments and novel applications. Every issue contains invited review articles and topical reports.

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine publishes the highest quality research and clinical manuscripts in areas relating to the use of lasers in medicine and biology. L&O Limnology and Oceanography (ISSN 0024-3590) publishes original articles, including scholarly reviews, about all aspects of limnology and oceanography. Submissions are judged on the originality of their data, interpretations, and ideas, and on the degree to which they can be generalized beyond the particular aquatic system examined. Laboratory and modeling studies must demonstrate relevance to field environments; typically this means that they are bolstered by substantial "real-world" data. Few purely theoretical or purely empirical papers are accepted for review; authors are strongly advised to combine such materials into more complete papers that test novel theory against data to elucidate important features of actual aquatic systems and to predict measurable features that have not yet been observed.
