Published bi-annually by Global Oriental for the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge, Inner Asia is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal with emphasis on the social sciences, humanities and cultural studies. Now in its fourteenth year, Inner Asia is currently one of the very few research-orientated publications in the world in which scholars can address the contemporary and historical problems of the region.
Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching is an international refereed journal devoted to innovative approaches to methodologies and pedagogies in language learning and teaching. It publishes research articles, review articles and book/materials reviews. It draws on a range of disciplines that share a focus on exploring new approaches to language learning and teaching from a learner-centred perspective. It will appeal to anyone interested in the development of, research into or practical application of new methodologies in language teaching and learning. Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching also includes an 'Innovative Practice' section, giving authors an opportunity to showcase the latest in innovative practice in language learning and teaching. Papers need to be of a similarly high standard to papers in the main section of the journal and will be subject to review. Papers in this section, which will include a maximum of one paper per journal issue, do not need to report on research. Papers should be between 3,000-4,000 words. Peer Review PolicyAll papers are anonymously peer reviewed by a minimum of two experts.
Inquiry is an Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy. Founded by Arne Naess in 1958, Inquiry has come to occupy a distinctive and highly valued place amongst the philosophical journals. Inquiry is a refereed journal, publishing in all areas of philosophy. This journal explores the cultural nature of human conduct and its evolutionary history, anthropology, ethology, communication processes between people and within -- as well as between -- societies. It integrates perspectives of the social and biological sciences through theoretical models of epigenesis. Integrative Psychological & Behavioral Science (IPBS) features articles that cover theoretical integration of ideas, epistemology of social and biological sciences, and original empirical research articles of general scientific value. IPBS covers the history of the social sciences as relevant for development of theoretical perspectives and empirical elaborations within the social and biological sciences. It integrates knowledge from many fields in a new synthesis of universal social science – overcoming the post-modernist fragmentation of ideas.

Intellectual History Review is the journal of the International Society for Intellectual History. The journal is a forum for the Anglo-American and European intellectual history community, promoting the work and aims of the ISIH as well as the study of intellectual history more generally. As well as articles, IHR regularly publishes literature surveys, and essay reviews of current work in intellectual history and related historical areas. The journal will construe 'intellectual' in the most inclusive and comprehensive sense, focusing primarily on intellectual history from the sixteenth century to the present. It publishes papers addressing the history of philosophy, religion, science, anthropology, psychology and the social sciences and other relevant intellectual formations. Articles which emphasise the grounding of intellectual work in social, cultural and historical context will be encouraged. The journal will also encourage historical reflection on the formation and development of intellectual history as a discipline and publish studies which review the work and achievements of individual intellectual historians. It would also publish articles discussing methodological issues, historiographical reflections on the relationship between intellectual history and cognate or competing historical perspectives such as cultural history, the history of ideas and the history of philosophy. This international, peer-reviewed journal aims to advance knowledge in the growing and strongly interdisciplinary area of Interaction Studies in biological and artificial systems. Understanding social behaviour and communication in biological and artificial systems requires knowledge of evolutionary, developmental and neurobiological aspects of social behaviour and communication; the embodied nature of interactions; origins and characteristics of social and narrative intelligence; perception, action and communication in the context of dynamic and social environments; social learning, adaptation and imitation; social behaviour in human-machine interactions; the nature of empathic understanding, behaviour and intention reading; minimal requirements and systems exhibiting social behaviour; the role of cultural factors in shaping social behaviour and communication in biological or artificial societies. The journal welcomes contributions that analyze social behaviour in humans and other animals as well as research into the design and synthesis of robotic, software, virtual and other artificial systems, including applications such as exploiting human-machine interactions for educational or therapeutic purposes.
