Quaerendo is a leading peer-reviewed journal on the history of books and manuscripts in Europe, especially the Low Countries and its neighbours. Particular emphasis is placed on the interdisciplinary nature of book history and the dissemination of books and manuscripts. Since 1971 Quaerendo has established itself as a major forum for contributions concerning the history of the book. Each volume contains, besides full articles on all aspects of the history of the book, a special section for Book Reviews and Notes in order to announce recent discoveries, new publications and relevant events.
Qualitative Research (QRJ), edited by Paul Atkinson and Sara Delamont, is a bimonthly peer reviewed journal that publishes original research and review articles on the methodological diversity and multi-disciplinary focus of qualitative research. Indexed in ISI - Impact Factor pending - QRJ is international and interdisciplinary accepting global contributions from within sociology, social anthropology, health and nursing, education, human geography, social and discursive psychology, and discourse studies.
The Quarterly Journal of Speech (QJS) publishes articles and book reviews of interest to those who take a rhetorical perspective on the texts, discourses, and cultural practices by which public beliefs and identities are constituted, empowered, and enacted. Rhetorical scholarship now cuts across many different intellectual, disciplinary, and political vectors, and QJS seeks to honor and address the interanimating effects of such differences. No single project, whether modern or postmodern in its orientation, or local, national, or global in its scope, can suffice as the sole locus of rhetorical practice, knowledge and understanding. Accordingly, QJS adopts an ecumenical attitude towards the full array of best scholarship being produced under rhetoric's broad purview, including work that advances and enriches long standing intellectual traditions, as well as theory and criticism that seeks to forge new intellectual frontiers.
