Functional & Integrative Genomics is devoted to large-scale studies of genomes and their functions, including systems analyses of biological processes. Topics covered include: - Whole genome analyses/bioinformatics/expression profiling - Genomics (structural, comparative, integrative) - Proteomics and Metabolomics (integrated with function) - Metagenomics - Human disease genes and loci - Large-scale/high throughput analysis of biological systems Emphasis will be placed on manuscripts addressing important biological problems using large-scale systems and approaches. Studies on bacterial, fungal, protista, plant and animal genomes are welcome. Papers describing new techniques will only be considered for publication if they are sufficiently novel and broadly applicable.

Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology publishes reports describing important and novel developments in fundamental as well as clinical research relevant to drug therapy. Fungal Biology is the international research journal of the British Mycological Society. Fungal Biology publishes original contributions in all fields of basic and applied research involving fungi and fungus-lke organisms (including filamentous fungi, yeasts, lichen fungi, oomycetes, and slime moulds). These fields include biochemistry, biodeterioration, biotechnology, cell biology, developmental biology, disease control, ecology, environment, evolution, fungal physiology, genetics, genomics, geomycology, insect pathology, medical mycology, molecular genetics, mutualistic interactions, physiology, plant pathology, secondary metabolites, taxonomy and systematics, and techniques. Priority is given to contributions likely to be of interest to a wide international audience.

Future Microbiology has inevitably been impacted by the genomic revolution. Research into the extreme diversity of microbial organisms will lead to the elucidation of new biologic pathways and gene products, and thus potential therapeutic strategies to combat or prevent infection. The availability of both human and microbial genome sequences will enable scientists to better understand exactly how microbes interact with the hosts they infect, and how an individual’s genetic make-up influences their susceptibility to pathogens. Future Oncology takes a forward-looking stance toward the scientific and clinical issues, together with the economic and policy issues that confront us in a new era of cancer care. The journal includes news and views, literature awareness regarding new biomarkers, concise commentary and analysis, reports from the conference circuit and full review articles. Accessible ‘at-a-glance’ formats are important in an increasingly time-constrained clinical community. The Future of Children is a biannual publication of The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and The Brookings Institution. It seeks to promote effective policies and programs for children by providing policymakers, service providers, and the media with timely, objective information based on the best available research.

G3: Genes, Genomes, Genetics provides a forum for the publication of high-quality foundational research, particularly research that generates datasets such as genome maps, single gene studies, genome-wide association and QTL studies, as well as mutant screens and advances in methods and technology. The Editorial Board of G3 believes that rapid dissemination of these data is the necessary foundation for analysis that leads to mechanistic insights.

The GE – Portuguese Journal of Gastroenterology (formerly Jornal Português de Gastrenterologia), founded in 1994, is the official publication of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Gastrenterologia (Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology), Sociedade Portuguesa de Endoscopia Digestiva (Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy), and Associação Portuguesa para o Estudo do Fígado (Portuguese Association for the Study of the Liver).
The journal publishes clinical and basic research articles on gastroenterology, digestive endoscopy, hepatology, and related topics. Review articles, clinical case studies, images, letters to the editor, and other articles such as recommendations or papers on gastroenterology clinical practice are also considered. Only articles written in English are accepted.

The GAMO is a high-quality scientific journal (published both in print and freely available online format) that informs healthcare professionals on the most relevant and updated advances on research and education, in order to offer cancer patients multidisciplinary, state of the art care.

It is the official scientific and academic diffusion publication of the Mexican Society of Oncology (SMeO). Regular numbers are published every two months, in addition to several supplements throughout the year.

Its spaces are open to the SMeO members, as well as to any member of the medical community (both national and international) interested in using this publication to communicate his/her works under the standards of universal editorial policies.

It is the jornal of choice for oncologists in matters of research and education on surgical, medical, pediatric, gynecologic, hematologic and radiation oncology, as well as on detection, diagnosis, follow-up and rehabilitation supportive disciplines, fields where different specialties involved in the management of the cancer patient do participate.
About the journal

The mission of the GAMO consists in serving its readers in:

1. representation and promotion of the oncolgy profession throughout the country and the world
2. promotion of standards of the highest quality in the practice of multidisciplinary care for the cancer patient
3. providing educational materials on cancer and support the training of investigators, using printed and electronic media
4. promotion of both clinical and translational cancer research, with special emphasis on clinical trials
5. facilitate the professional development of trainee oncologists and their transition to academical practice, fostering the interest on care for the community
6. promotion of public policies and support and guidance instruments for the cancer patient.

The Editorial Board and Committee are comprised of different experts in the field of oncology from multiple institutions, both national and international. The Editorial Board is structured based on the editorial sections that reflect the contents of the journal. Each section is directed by a section editor who supervises peer reviewing of the works by experts on the relevant area or subject. The Editorial Board Members are regular collaborators of the journal and are appointed to a 2-year period. The Editor in Chief has a 4-year period with option to a second period for the same time.
Publication guidelines

The journal is subject to international publication guidelines that indicate how a manuscript must be prepared to be able to be published, aspects on edition and publication of articles and ethical considerations that have to be followed in the communication of results.
Article types

The journal includes several types of articles. According to the structure, focus, contents, scope and purposes of the document, they can be classified as:

• Editorial
• Original articles
• Review articles
• Clinical cases

The articles can support their proposals, findings and conclusions using tables and images.

The articles are subject to peer review as a control method with regard to quality and veracity of the contents.

Submission: electronic format or by postal mail. The articles are published online in the website and sent to the SMeO members.
