HNO ist ein international angesehenes Publikationsorgan und wendet sich an alle HNO-Ärzte in Praxis und Klinik. Inhaltlich stehen Prävention, diagnostische Vorgehensweisen und Komplikationsmanagement sowie moderne Therapiestrategien einschließlich chirurgischer Verfahren im Vordergrund.
Umfassende Übersichtsarbeiten greifen ausgewählte Themen auf und bieten dem Leser eine Zusammenstellung aktueller Erkenntnisse aus allen Bereichen der HNO-Heilkunde. Neben der Vermittlung von relevantem Hintergrundwissen liegt der Schwerpunkt dabei auf der Bewertung wissenschaftlicher Ergebnisse unter Berücksichtigung praktischer Erfahrung - der Leser erhält konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen.
Frei eingereichte Originalien ermöglichen die Präsentation wichtiger klinischer Studien und dienen dem wissenschaftlichen Austausch.
Kasuistiken zeigen interessante Fallbeispiele und ungewöhnliche Krankheits- bzw. Behandlungsverläufe.

HOMO is a fully peer-reviewed journal committed to the publication of research results in biological anthropology and related fields. These related fields include, for example: anatomy, archaeology, genetics, odontology, ecology, demography, palaeontology, palaeopathology, forensics, child growth, evolutionary medicine, health sciences and behavioural sciences.
HPB is an international forum for clinical, scientific and educational communication. Ten issues a year bring the reader leading articles, expert reviews, original articles, images, editorials, and reader correspondence encompassing all aspects of benign and malignant hepatobiliary disease and its management. HPB features relevant aspects of clinical and translational research and practice. Specific areas of interest include HPB diseases encountered globally by clinical practitioners in this specialist field of gastrointestinal surgery. The journal addresses the challenges faced in the management of cancer involving the liver, biliary system and pancreas. While surgical oncology represents a large part of HPB practice, submission of manuscripts relating to liver and pancreas transplantation, the treatment of benign conditions such as acute and chronic pancreatitis, and those relating to hepatobiliary infection and inflammation are also welcomed. There will be a focus on developing a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment with endoscopic and laparoscopic approaches, radiological interventions and surgical techniques being strongly represented. HPB aims to help its readers - surgeons, physicians, radiologists and basic scientists - to develop their knowledge and practice. HPB will be of interest to specialists involved in the management of hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease however will also inform those working in related fields.

Head & Face Medicine is a multidisciplinary open access journal that publishes basic and clinical research concerning all pathological and non-pathological conditions that can affect the human head and face, including underlying and inner tissues.
Head & Neck is an international multidisciplinary publication of original contributions concerning the diagnosis and management of diseases of the head and neck. This area involves the overlapping interests and expertise of several surgical and medical specialties, including general surgery, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, oral surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, pathology, radiotherapy, medical oncology, and the corresponding basic sciences. Head & Neck publishes original contributions on clinical and research topics. Each manuscript is submitted to peer review by at least two experts in the field. Comprehensive reviews of topics, particularly in fields subject to rapid change in knowledge, will be included at the discretion of the Editor and on the recommendation of reviewers. Technical notes, descriptions of new technologies, single case reports of unusual interest, and brief preliminary communications are accepted after proper peer review. Editorials and Letters to the Editor are also considered for publication. Head & Neck also publishes regular series: Controversies , Basic Science Reviews , Anatomic Correlates , Abstracts , and Book Reviews . Book Reviews are solicited by the editor, and publishers should send review books to Randal S. Weber, MD, Editor. Visual materials will also be accepted for review. Head & Neck adheres to the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals under the agreement of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors ( JAMA 1993;269:2282-2286). Manuscripts are accepted for consideration if they have not appeared elsewhere in any but abstract form and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. This policy does not preclude consideration of a manuscript that has been rejected by another journal or of a complete report that follows publication of the preliminary report or abstract. It is requested that the author submit a full statement to the Editor about previous reports that may be regarded as prior or duplicate publication for the same or similar work.
