To spread the scientific production in the areas of exercise and sport sciences, through the publication of results of original research and other document forms that contribute for the basic and applied knowledge in physical activity, exercise and sport in the scope of Biological Sciences and Medicine.

To publish articles that may contribute to the improvement and the development of the practice, research, and teaching of Orthopedics and related specialities.

The journal is an organ for the dissemination of the Brazilian College of Veterinary Parasitology, with specificity only within that area, disseminating the results of Brazilian research in the areas of Helminthology, Protozoology, Entomology and agents transmitted by arthropods, related to animal health.

The Revista Brasileira de Plantas Medicinais (RBPM) was launched in October 1998 (v.1, n.1) as a biannual publication until 2003, and was published three times a year in 2004 and 2005. From 2006, it became a quarterly journal, publishing until August/2010 (v.12, n.3, 2010) 582 scientific papers, the majority of which are scientific articles, some reviews and a few preliminary notes. Since 2008, the Journal is also available at CAPES journals (www.periodicos.capes.gov.br) and at the portal of Summaries of Brazilian Journals, in the Multidisciplinary field (http://www.sumarios.org/ revista.asp?idrevista=271&idarea=9).The Revista Brasileira de Plantas Medicinais covers the great areas of multidisciplinary study on medicinal plants, including Plant Anatomy and Morphology; Bioassays; Biotechnology; Genetic Resource Conservation; Ecophysiology; Ethnobotany; Ethnopharmacology; Pharmacognosis; Pharmacology; Plant Physiology; Phytochemistry; Plant Science; Phytotherapy, Food Technology and use of medicinal plants in Veterinary Medicine.Its abbreviated title is Rev. bras. plantas med., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.

To improve the care of critically ill patients by means of discussion, distribution, and promotion of evidence-based information relevant for healthcare professionals involved in intensive care medicine.

RCE es el “escaparate” de la Medicina Interna de España y refleja lo que son los internistas españoles. RCE tiene como objetivos prioritarios la formación, la información y la reflexión en una presentación agradable y de lectura cómoda. RCE is the "showcase" of Spanish Internal Medicine and reflects the works of Spanish Internists. The aims of the RCE are to prioritise training, information and a presentation that is reflective, pleasant and easy to read. To achieve these aims the RCE Directors keep in permanent contact with the SEMI Directors and with the coordinators of the Working Groups, who actively take part in each RCE issue.

The Revista Colombiana de Cancerología is the official journal of the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología de Colombia (INC), published quarterly, with the aim of widening interest in, and knowledge of, issues on cancer. The Journal publishes articles on molecular carcinogenesis and treatment response, cancer epidemiology, clinical characteristics and treatment of neoplastic illnesses, and on public health programs for the control of cancer.

Revista Colombiana de Cardiología (RCC) is the official organ of the Colombian Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Society. La Revista Colombiana de Cardiología (RCC) es la publicación oficial de la Sociedad Colombiana de Cardiología y Cirugía Cardiovascular. Revista Colombiana de Psiquiatría (RCP) is a quarterly official publication of Colombian Psychiatry Association (March, June, September and December) and its purpose is to spread different the knowledge models that currently constitute the theoretical and practical body of our specialty. Psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, non psychiatric physicians, psychologists, philosophers or other health professionals or persons interested in this area can take part in the magazine. This journal publishes original works, revision or updating articles, case reports of all psychiatry and mental health areas, epistemology, mind philosophy, bioethics and also articles about methodology of investigation and critical reading.
