Scandinavian Journal of Surgery is a quarterly journal which publishes original papers and review articles of surgery and closely related topics. The journal does not publish case reports. The journal is issued in one volume. Each volume consists of four numbers. Original articles in British English are published after acceptance by reviewers on condition that they are contributed solely to Scandinavian Journal of Surgery. We will give new emphasis to translational reports which simultaneously highlight basic neurobiological mechanisms and clinical manifestations. Much of the Bulletin content will be invited reviews and manuscripts organized as a theme by special guest editors. Also, the Bulletin will carry unsolicited manuscripts of high quality that report original data related to theme issues or where the Bulletin can provide a special venue for a major study.The editorial policy of the Schizophrenia Bulletin generally follows the Uniform Requirements guidelines articulated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (http://www.icmje.org). The journal is published bi-monthly serving readership and contributors from the USA and internationally. Schizophrenia Research: Cognition is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal publishing articles on cognition in schizophrenia, broadly defined. The journal publishes original articles, concise research reports, brief reports, letters to the editor, and review papers. Submissions on all aspects of cognition in schizophrenia will be welcome, including clinical neuropsychology, neurocognition, social cognition, functional capacity, cognitive, affective, and social neuroscience, and aspects of everyday outcome as related to cognition. Articles that compare the impact of cognition and other influences on outcome in schizophrenia will also be published. Articles on descriptive characteristics, genetic influences, pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatments, and neuroimaging correlates of these aspects of cognition are welcomed.
